TMZ reports sources connected to the Aerosmith singer tell them Tyler was suffering from dehydration caused by a bout of food poisoning when he collapsed in a Paraguay hotel shower. Tyler was treated at a hospital in Paraguay's capital for injuries to his face, including the loss of two teeth and cuts to his eyebrow and mouth. more on this story
(Rock News Desk) Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack sustained rib fractures after a 15-foot jump during the band's show in Hollywood at the weekend. He says: "I've shattered three ribs on my left side. I'll keep everyone updated but for now I'm resting so I can get back to rocking on stage as soon as possible." (hennemusic) Axl Rose was rock-rock-rockin' on the stage floor in Mexico City after the Guns N' Roses frontman slipped and fell during the show. While performing the Bob Dylan track, "Knockin' On Heaven's Door," Axl was slowly wandering across the stage when he slipped and fell awkwardly. Rose continued to sing through the incident and, as a roadie rushed to help him up, Axl waved him off and climbed back to his feet, to the applause of the crowd. The show was the first of back-to-back gigs at the Sports Palace in Mexico City, with another two to follow this weekend, including Guadalajara (Sat) and Monterrey (Sun). See video of the fall here
(Billboard) While straddling her flaming piano and the piano bench at Houston's Toyota Center, Lady Gaga lost her balance and took a nasty fall. Quite impressively, she never stopped singing her "Born This Way" track "You and I." You can watch the fall here.
It looks like nothing major, as Halford had planted the bike and it was standing still at the time; Rob appears to simply fall over to the left with the bike as it goes down. The singer quickly rights the bike and the band launch into "Hell Bent For Leather" during their encores. more on this story
Currently touring the UK with Def Leppard and Steel Panther, the Crue's set of classics and hits was unfazed by Sixx' slight fall, which happened during "Shout At The Devil." Sixx had climbed down off a riser and was walking across the stage towards drummer Tommy Lee's kit when he slipped and wiped out. Nikki tweeted about it after the show: "Slipped and fell onstage. Fun. Smashed blood bass. Fun. Guitar cabinets blown up. Rock n roll. Nottingham. Loud." more on this story
(Gibson) Jimmy Buffett has been hospitalized, following an incident on Wednesday (January 26) in which he fell from the stage during a concert in Australia. Rolling Stone.com reports that the performer was playing "Lovely Cruise" during his encore in Sydney when he fell into a gap between the stage and the crowd. Audience members have said that Buffett was walking along the edge of the stage when a flash of light went off, causing the disoriented singer to fall. According to reports, he was unconscious for five to 10 minutes and suffered a gash on his head from hitting a piece of metal. more on this story
(hennemusic) Ace Frehley has been forced to cancel his three upcoming UK tour dates due to a fractured left wrist resulting from a fall in his home on Sunday. Doctors applied a fiberglass cast to Frehley's hand and arm, and he has been instructed not to play guitar or use his wrist for a minimum of ten days. Ace would like to convey his deepest heartfelt apologies to all of his UK fans and to make it up to them, has already signed on to headline Hard Rock Hell 2012 next December. He hopes to be able to announce the additional rescheduled dates soon. more on this story
(TMZ) Lindsay Lohan says she was NOT loaded on grandpa's cough medicine -- aka booze, hooch, or liquor -- when she busted her butt in NYC ... telling TMZ flat-out, "I was NOT drinking, nor do I drink!" LiLo is on the defensive after being photographed going down hard outside the Motor City Bar on Wednesday -- because some people had the audacity to think Lindsay Lohan falling down outside a bar may mean she fell off the wagon. But that's not the case ... because Lohan tells TMZ, "I was with my brother, sister and friends. I was making a joke. They're trying to make something out of nothing." (Gibson) Ozzy Osbourne has suffered a dental dilemma. Last week, his two front teeth fell out, and the rocker had to call his manager/wife Sharon Osbourne just before she made an appearance on U.S. late-night show Chelsea Lately to figure out what to do. Sharon told Chelsea, "I just got a phone call from him... He goes, 'I've got a problem... My two bottom crowns have fallen out,'" reports the Toronto Sun. "I said, 'The two front bottom ones?' He said, 'Yeah.' I go, 'We've got a problem...' He's got a show to do on Thursday." more on this story
The singer smashed two teeth and sustained a black eye when he took a tumble in his hotel shower in Paraguay on Tuesday, forcing the postponement of Aerosmith's concert in Asuncion. But the band delivered their rescheduled 17-song show on Wednesday night � with Tyler, 63, even playing harmonica despite the pain in his mouth. The official reason for his collapse was given as an attack of food poisoning. But the singer told the Today Show that he knew many people would assume it was drink-related, following the spectacular dive in 2009 which forced Aerosmith on hiatus and sent him into rehab more on this story
