antiTainment reports: The Amityville Horror
remake attracted the biggest crowds at North American theatres this past
weekend. The rehashing of the 1979 haunted house thriller brought in estimated
$23.3 million during its first weekend of wide release.
Last week's number one, "Sahara" slid to
second place with a weekend take of $13.1 million. "Fever Pitch" remained
in third place bringing in an additional $8.8 million this past weekend.

in California.
Sheriff's deputies pulled over Klein, 26,
on 5 February (05) while he was driving a 2003 BMW along a San Diego County
highway, reports website THE SMOKING GUN.
According to the criminal complaint, Klein's
blood-alcohol level at the time was more than double the legal limit of
